Sonya Jose Sabbah

Sonya J. Sabbah is a British born Lebanese Master Certified Coach Trainer, Certified Executive & Cognitive Behavioural Coach, author & the founder of EFLA.

Sonya graduated from the University of London with a Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) and worked with the United Nations for 6 years as a Legal Protection Officer. She studied Journalism and Newswriting at the London School of Journalism and moved to Lebanon to work as a reporter/editor for the Daily Star newspaper & Lebanon Opportunities Magazine.

Sonya also offers her branding services to a number of Public Relations companies as consultant through her sister business, Writer’s Ink.

She founded Excellence First in 2008 as a training & coaching business and recently revamped it to Excellence First Leadership Academy (EFLA). She is also a Certified Personal Branding Strategist and has helped many prominent figures level up their image and brand as leaders.

Sonya worked with a number of leading organizations and executives in Lebanon, the Gulf & the Levant area as well as creating Leadership Programs for the youths and women.

Sonya is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and Lebanese League of Women in Business (LLWB). She appears on a number of local & regional media outlets as a resident expert. She recently completed a diploma in Professional Psychotherapy to add to her portfolio and to offer more value to her clients.

Sonya is in the process of writing her second book on leadership and launching the leadership academy in full swing. She will also be embarking on a Masters degree in Psychology in September, 2019
